Very summer-ish weather

Hot afternoons and the daily risk of a few sea breeze showers and thunderstorms will be in store through at least tomorrow with things trending a little drier Thursday and Friday. Much like yesterday, rain chances will be a little higher over SE TX. Around a 30% coverage is expected around Houston with closer to 20% expected across Acadiana. The thunderstorms that develop shouldn't be long lived and will drop some brief heavy rain and a little lightning.
An area of low pressure forming over the Gulf and sliding towards Florida will be the reason for lowering rain chances to end the week as drier air and high pressure builds in to the north and northwest of it. It doesn't look like it will get stronger enough to get classified as an official tropical system, but it can't be ruled out at this point. Regardless, it would not be an impact to the northwest Gulf. Moisture levels and rain chances will likely pick up a bit over the weekend, but nothing is looking too extreme at this point.
