Latest short range forecast models are now starting to show scattered thunderstorms over the eastern half of Acadiana tomorrow afternoon/evening. It looks like there will be just enough weakening of the ridge and increased moisture off of the Gulf. Areas west of say...Crowley will likely miss out, but event east of there the forecast confidence is very low. But, its something. If storms do develop, they could become strong and potentially contain some frequent lightning, gusty winds and very heavy downpours. Timing will likely be the later half of the afternoon and early evening and movement will be generally east to west.
