Sea breeze has awakened

It is sure is nice to see sea breeze showers and thunderstorms in the forecast. We saw a bit more activity in and around Houston than expected yesterday, but less activity Acadiana. Today, it should be a good 30-40% coverage area wide. 40-50% coverage is then expected tomorrow and Wednesday with the best chance of showers storms on Thursday as a weak front sags in from the north. Things trend back drier this weekend. Timing of showers and storms will generally be late morning thru mid afternoon each day for areas along the I-10 corridor. It'll be early to the south and later to the north...generally speaking.

Temps will still be pretty hot, just not as extreme as last week. Humidity will be elevated too, so peak heat index values will still be north of 100F on most days.
