Pretty good weekend upcoming

Southeast Texas is holding on to some scattered shower and thunderstorm activity today and again tomorrow, but southern Louisiana started its drying trend yesterday and that will continue today and through the weekend. Both areas should be dry Sunday through early next week with humidity levels dropping off as well.

Afternoons will remain somewhat hot this weekend, but the Houston area will see morning lows down in the lower 70s Sunday night and Monday night, and for Acadiana, there will be some upper 60s early Sunday morning and mid 60s early Monday and Tuesday morning! That's going to feel real nice and might get some roux off the shelves.

Mid to late next week looks pretty hot and mostly dry. Heat won't be record breaking, but it will be a bit above normal. Mornings and evenings will be ok but not as nice as earlier in the week.
