More storms tomorrow...

Rain cooled air has settled over most areas leading to more stable conditions. A few showers will remain possible through the rest of the day, but additional heavy rain or thunderstorms are not expected.

Somewhat similar conditions are expected to evolve tomorrow, but depending on how things play out tonight, storms could move in a little earlier over SE TX. Also, northern portions of the Greater Houston area got hit the hardest the last couple days, but for tomorrow, southern areas will have a better chance of heavier storms. Gusty winds, lightning and very heavy downpours will again accompany thunderstorms tomorrow. A lot of areas will see 0.25 to 1.25 inches of rain, but locally up to 3-6 inches could fall where heavier storms occur. Again, areas south of Houston could see the heavier storms tomorrow.
