It’s a race!

Rain chances and temperatures will be climbing into the afternoon. Unfortunately temperatures are already climbing through the mid 90s and most places will get above 100f before showers and storms get going.

Based on what happened yesterday, I think more folks will get some thunderstorm action today. Heavier storms will again having very gusty winds.

Tomorrow's rain chances will be dependent on what happens today and the placement of the front. It's looking pretty good and I think it'll be around 60% from Houston through Acadiana.

The rest of the forecast remains on track. Drying out mid week with more comfortable mornings and evenings. Moisture and more humidity returns end of the weekend and into the Labor Day weekend. Low rain chances should also be in place.
