The ridge of high pressure and lack of deep moisture will keep rain chances very low and afternoon highs near the century mark through at least the weekend and likely into next week. An isolated afternoon shower or storm will be possible most days, but it will be very isolated, small and brief. Rain chances will be around 15-20% each day in Acadiana and 5-10% around Houston. Some models hint at a pattern shift and a weakening ridge by the middle of next week, but I'm not so sure.
