Good chance of storms!

Just for Acadiana...Houston staying hot and dry. A disturbance moving in from the northwest is expected to spark a good 60-70% coverage of showers and thunderstorms over Acadiana late this afternoon or this evening. Gusty winds should accompany the storms, and locally, some gusts could be strong. I think a lot of areas will see 0.25 to 1.00 of rain with locally higher amounts to 1.5 to 2.0 inches possible.

Drier conditions move back in tomorrow (staying hot and dry for Houston) with hot and dry weather through mid week. Moisture and rain chances start to creep up slightly by Thursday, but I'm not expecting any significant rain chances until next weekend.
